Checkwright’s promise is a trade: mechanized consistency enforcement in exchange for a bounded, measured context footprint. This page sets the benefit and the cost side by side — every governed surface a kit ships, against the tokens that kit spends of a consumer’s context budget — so the exchange is legible before you vendor.

The benefit half is the count of governed surfaces each kit holds, split by how hard each promise is kept; the Enforcement map names every surface behind those counts and defines the classes. The cost half is the per-kit token footprint; the Footprint page shows how it is measured and what it excludes. Neither figure is maintained by hand — both are joined live from the same emitters that own the detail pages, so this rollup cannot drift from what the kits enforce or what they cost.

A third generated projection sits beside those two: the coupling graph renders every gate against the surfaces its # graph: manifest couples — the same manifests the pre-commit hook is generated from — so you can see what fires when a given path changes.
