Checkwright plugin
Checkwright’s lifecycle stage skills and tool-call guards, packaged as a harness plugin. Installing the plugin installs no kit: its install skill runs the installer’s init, and every other skill runs a template that install vendors into your repository.
What it registers
- The lifecycle skills: the stage skills and every other skill Checkwright’s own repository binds, under the same names. Each runs its Checkwright template in your repository. Where your repository has a skill of its own that binds that template, it runs yours instead; otherwise it takes each slot’s own text as its binding.
- The
installskill, which chooses a profile with you and runs the one-line install withinit. - The guards, in Claude Code only: guard-kit’s shell, wakeup and workflow-state guards. Each does nothing in a repository without Checkwright vendored.
Installing it
In Claude Code:
/plugin marketplace add checkwright/checkwright
/plugin install checkwright@checkwright
Any other Agent Plugins client loads this plugin/ directory by its own install route.
Then ask for the install skill, then for the adopt skill, in the repository you want governed, or install Checkwright yourself (Install).
If you already merged guard-kit’s hook wiring into .claude/settings.json, keep one of the two: with both, each guard runs twice and the friction log counts each fall-through twice.
Where the design lives
plugin/SPEC.md: the two manifests, the skill roster and body, the hooks rendering, the marketplace pin, check-plugin-parity, the validation leg and the honest limits.
